“Be sure to taste your words before you spit them out.”
I was at the grocery store when I overheard a heated exchange in the checkout line. The woman standing directly behind me seemed upset with another woman who had joined the queue.
“You can’t bring your dog into the grocery store. It’s unhealthy!” the first woman exclaimed in a horrified voice.
That’s when I noticed a tiny chihuahua in the arms of the second woman.
“The only thing unhealthy is what’s coming out of your mouth!” the second woman shot back.
Her response was met with chuckles from nearby shoppers.
Clearly irritated, the first woman stormed off to complain to the manager. As she walked away, I heard the second woman calmly explain that her chihuahua was her emotional support animal, making it perfectly within her rights to bring the dog into the store.

It is best to mind your own business. Wise words!
Yup - mom always said, "Never let come out of your mouth what you wouldn't want to put in it."
